Sensory Saturdays
The next Sensory Saturday program will be June 21, 2025, from 10 AM to 12 PM. Here is the link to register:

Montgomery County Department of Parks has a wide range of participants from ages 6 to adults. The sensory stations include nature and farm-related coloring, drawing, and word search activities, a touch station with farm stuffed animals, alternative seating, sensory materials, music to move to, staff to guide around the park to see the farm animals and historical structures, and games. I'd be happy to discuss this over the phone or Zoom, provide more details about this program, and answer any questions you may have.

Special Olympics Maryland Summer Games – Spectator Access

📍 Towson University & Kiwanis Wallas Park
While participation requires registration, spectating at events is free and encouraged. Community members can attend competitions in athletics, swimming, cheerleading, bocce, and softball. The event includes ceremonies and celebration activities.

Virtual NAMI Conference Proposals
Conference date: on June 6th and 7th, 2025
Submit innovative and exciting proposals to fill our workshop and plenary time slots.
Sample Topics Including:
Emerging and best practice treatment for specific disorders; benefits and how to access them; specific supportive services; trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and/or peer services; early detection and intervention, criminal justice; servicing racial minorities and other underserved populations; substance use; physical health; developmental and behavioral disorders; handling specific situations like crises and disappearance; and advocacy and policy initiatives, specific policy topics, etc.
Proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis until Friday, May 2nd, 2025.
