DDA Community Pathways, Family Supports Waiver and Community Supports Waiver Renewal Webinar

The Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) will be hosting a webinar to share an overview of the proposed Community Pathways Waiver, Family Supports Waiver, and Community Supports Waiver Renewal 2023. The webinar is scheduled for September 1, 2022 at 10 to 11:30 a.m. The webinar will be recorded and posted on the DDA website dedicated renewal webpages. Register for the webcast.

Waiver programs provide home and community-based services to support participants as they work toward individually defined life outcomes, self-determination, community living, socialization, and economic self-sufficiency. Each waiver must be renewed every five (5) years. All renewals and requests to make changes to waiver programs are made by submitting a Waiver Renewal or Amendment application to the Federal Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Track change documents for the renewal proposals will be available on each Waiver program’s dedicated page listed below on or before September 1st:

The official public comments period is from September 6, 2022 through October 6, 2022. Public comments can be submitted to wfb.dda@maryland.gov or mailed to the DDA Federal Program Unit at 201 West Preston Street, 4th Floor, Baltimore, MD 21201. Comments will be accepted beginning September 6, 2022, through October 6, 2022. To support the stakeholder input process and minimize public burden, comments for all three waivers should be submitted together under one response.
