Workforce Recruitment Program Seeks Federal Employees to Recruit Students with Disabilities

The Workforce Recruitment Program is a recruitment and referral program that connects federal and select private-sector employers nationwide with highly motivated college students and recent graduates with disabilities who are eager to demonstrate their abilities in the workplace through internships and permanent jobs. The WRP is the primary pipeline bringing students and recent graduates with disabilities into federal employment. Volunteers are needed to act as WRP Recruiters for the upcoming recruitment season, which runs from October 24-November 16, 2022.

Recruiters must be Federal Government employees who commit to conducting up to 10-12 virtual informational interviews with students. To participate, recruiters must complete an online training this summer on the WRP website. Registration is open until August 26, 2022.
