New Project Seeks to Advance Autism Acceptance By Improving Employment Outcomes Among Young Adults on the Autism Spectrum

Mathematica's Center for Studying Disability Policy recently shared new work for #AutismAcceptanceMonth. In partnership with the Office of Disability Employment Policy at the U.S. Department of Labor, they are researching ways to help young adults on the autism spectrum not only overcome employment barriers, but also build careers. A recent fact sheet explains the Research Support Services for Employment of Young Adults on the Autism Spectrum project's goals and provides an overview of its timeline and planned activities, and a pair of literature reviews summarize promising programs and strategies and evidence on their effectiveness.
