Persons with a Disability: Labor Force Characteristics 2021
The Bureau of Labor Statistics released “Persons with a Disability: Labor Force Characteristics 2021.” This report reflects data collected as part of the Current Population Survey, a monthly sample survey that provides statistics on employment and unemployment in the United States. The report shows that in 2021, 19.1% of persons with a disability were employed, while the unemployment rate was 10.1%. It also includes charts on the employment status of persons with and without a disability by various characteristics.
