DDA Notice of Online ARPA Grant Application
The Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) is pleased to announce the availability of non-competitive American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant funds for DDA Providers. The purpose of these funds is to enhance, expand, and strengthen Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and to promote HCBS core principles of consumer choice, community integration, opportunities, and rights.
The streamlined application process opened February 14th, and is now available through the online GrantVantage platform by visiting our website and clicking on ARPA Grants. The grant application process will close March 14, 2022 and Award letters will be issued April 1, 2022.
DDA also communicated that they have made a change to the budget worksheet and it will look different from what was shown in the demonstration from their recent GoToMeeting webinar. Based on your feedback, they consolidated the budget worksheet into one period - the ARPA period. There is no longer a budget for each year. We are hoping that this change will further streamline the process.
