A Letter from Maryland Works' CEO, Mary Manzoni

Dear Members of Maryland Works,

Happy New Year!

The new year brings new opportunities. The Maryland General Assembly began on January 12th with nearly one-third of the lawmakers being newly elected. Maryland Works will continue to advocate in Annapolis for resources and employment of individuals with disabilities.

The team at Maryland Works is committed to enhancing programming and employment for individuals with disabilities and supporting and providing our members with resources and training in 2022. Included in this newsletter is a link to a survey where input from you will help us grow to meet the needs of our members, as well as accommodate changes that our members see on the horizon. To meet the needs of our members we need to hear from you. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey

Take care of yourself and other. Wishing you all the best as we begin 2022.

"New year is another opportunity of seeing life with a little more caring, compassion, maturity and beauty." Amit Ray

"I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, and pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You're doing things you've never done before, and more importantly; you're doing something." Neil Gaiman

Sincerly,

Mary L. Manzoni
