As the largest outpatient behavioral health agency in Montgomery County, we offer years of the evidence-based treatment experience to our consumers and practical training to our staff. Our robust training program allows staff members to develop and grow in the position and provides the basis for upward mobility within the agency. Responsibilities of the Therapist Provide supportive mental health therapy, substance abuse counseling, and assertive case management, to include appropriate assessment, planning, coordination, linkage, delivery, and advocacy of services for all assigned clients Provide liaison services to outside agencies and families when needed and provides consultation to other programs · Document services in electronic health records and assures compliance with policies and procedures as well as legal, contractual, licensing, and regulatory requirements May supervise students as assigned Qualifications of the Therapist Valid Licensure in the State of Maryland (LCSW-C, LCPC, LMSW or LGPC) One year of experience providing mental health services and/or addiction counseling.
