Floor Care Services
SUMMARY Performs general cleaning and custodial duties primarily focused on floor care. Will be required to transport employees as backup and or supplies to various contracted buildings using a contract provided vehicle. Performs general cleaning and custodial duties to satisfy contractual requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Maintaining Floors in accordance with the BWI scope of work/ floor Care Plan and as directed by the site supervisors. Wet and dry mops hard surface flooring. Strips and refinishes hard floor surfaces. Vacuum cleans carpet surfaces. Performs minor carpet maintenance, spot cleaning, and using appropriate equipment. Maintain equipment to ensure it operates properly on a daily basis. The Floor Tech may also be required to assist in the following tasks: Dusts furniture, vertical and horizontal surfaces. Washes or cleans light fixtures, ceiling vents, venetian blinds, glass surfaces and windows as needed. Cleans restrooms, replenishes and maintains supplies. Collects and disposes of trash. Performs cleaning and custodial duties as required. Responds to special work requests from Custodial management. Preforms minor maintenance on cleaning equipment. Uses company van to transport employees and or supplies to various contracted buildings. May be asked to assist Custodial Supervisor in the completion of performance required tasks and/or act on behalf of the Custodial Supervisor in his or her absence or as required. Attends All required meetings for contractual obligations. Performs other duties as assigned.
