Monthly coaching sessions: February - June time and date TBD by participant and leadership coach
Cohort members will engage with other leaders in the field through a community of practice (COP) model providing opportunities to form connections and build a network of colleagues. Each session will feature a subject matter expert (SME) to review important tenets of successful leadership in various topic areas such as: personnel, finance, culture, supervision, leading with integrity, compliance/quality improvement and programmatic structure/support.
The cohort will meet monthly for 90 minutes starting with an in-person kick-off meeting at Maryland Works and all subsequent meetings will be virtual. Each cohort member will be paired with a leadership coach to develop and refine a professional development action plan. Through the virtual monthly 1:1 coaching sessions, each member will work with a coach on identified areas to further develop and refine.
During each SME session, participants will build a resource guide during each session which will serve as a topic overview with articles, resources and guiding information to take back to their organization.
Follow up: COP group will meet quarterly for one year to encourage connection and facilitate opportunities for discussion and learning.
